Who decides the future of a food brand?
Usually, it's the suits. At Sarvaani, it's the farmers. 🚜📝
Yesterday, we held our first official "Retrospective Meeting."
In the corporate world, this is standard. In the farming world, it is unheard of. There is a lingering stereotype that farming families are uneducated—that they don't understand strategy, P&Ls, or "corporate" meetings.
Let us correct that record.
Our FMU partners are not just farmers. They are young, well-educated professionals who chose to focus on their agricultural roots.
• Jamuna (Head of Jamuna Traders) was joined by her elder sister, Nayana, who provides critical strategic support to their family unit.
• Manoj (Head of Ganga Naturals) brings his own experience from the city back to the farm.
They understand soil health, but they also understand market gaps. So, when we sat down with sticky notes to debate the future of Sarvaani, it wasn't a partnership of instruction. It was a partnership of equals.
WHAT WE DECIDED:
1. The "Loud" Voice of the Farmer 🗣️
We realized that Sarvaani is just the enabler; they are the producers. Because of their educational background combined with ground reality, the insights from Jamuna, Manoj, and Nayana on quality control were sharper than any consultant we could hire.
2. The Non-Negotiables 🛡️
We asked a tough question: "As we scale, are we cutting corners?"
The room was unanimous. There has been zero lapse in quality or safety. Whether we sell 100 bottles or 10,000, the "Health, Hygiene, and Honesty" protocols remain sacred.
3. The Future: A Pilot Farm & Experience Center 🌿
We don't just want to sell oil; we want to create new opportunities for more farmers. But we cannot ask a farmer to experiment with a new product and risk their livelihood.
We decided that Sarvaani must build a dedicated "Pilot Farm & Experience Center."
• The Goal: To function as our R&D Lab. We will develop New Products (NPD), test the market, and perfect the SOPs here first.
• The Transfer: Once a product is successful, we transfer the technology to a new Farmer Manufacturing Unit (FMU). We take the risk; the farmer gets the proven model.
📢 We are actively looking for institutional partners who want to support this vision of a Regenerative Experience Center. If you align with this future, let’s talk.
THE CONCLUSION
We are building an institution where the grower has a seat at the table. To the skeptics who think farming families can't lead strategy: You haven't met our partners.
Here is to the dreamers who support their roots.
